Prison Break and Other Shows: What Will Happen When the Scripts Run Out?

I was reading a Wikipedia article on the Prison Break TV series how the strike by the Writer’s Guild of America has resulted in the last script for the third season being shown on Jan 14. Which means that there’ll be no more episodes (arggh) till the strike is resolved.

I agree with the writers. I think it’s time the big companies pay writers the royalties or whatever that they make from online content, DVDs and whatever. I mean, come on. These are the people that make you the money. Did you think shows are going to pop out of nowhere without a writer?
